Reason one: They make getting paid too easy
Every month my paycheck is accurate and on time. Where’s the drama? Where’s the thrill? Where’s the character-building struggle?
Reason two: They speak plain English
When payday came around, I got some mysterious Israeli document filled with cryptic codes and numbers.. I called Route 38 thinking I was being recruited for some dangerous spy mission and they actually explained everything. Now I understand taxes, benefits and contributions. This was not part of the plan.
Reason three: They handle too much
Route 38 takes care of all the US forms, Israeli regulations, compliance rules and international reporting. All the paperwork I was hoping to master at 2 AM. I have been robbed of my chance to become an amateur tax expert.
They also make sure I am treated like an employee instead of a self-employed contractor, which means I can keep my American job and avoid paying that lovely 15% self-employment Social Security tax in the US. Apparently, they want me to keep more of my own salary. Strange.
Reason four: They make my job feel legitimate
Contracts, benefits, official status and proper registration are all done by the book. I can’t even pretend I’m working in some vague legal gray zone. It’s all frustratingly professional.
Reason five: They protect me from unpleasant surprises
No sudden “oops, we did payroll wrong.” No unexpected tax bills. No awkward emails about missing paperwork. Apparently, they believe in stability. I can’t handle it.
Reason six: They answer my questions
When I ask about vacation days, pensions or health coverage, someone actually responds with real answers in reasonable time. Where are my endless email chains and automated replies?
Reason seven: They make benefits understandable
Instead of saying “You’re enrolled in something, good luck,” they explain how my pension works, what insurance I have and what I’m entitled to. Now I’m informed. This is dangerous.
Reason eight: They reduce my stress
I don’t worry about whether my employer is complying with local laws, I don’t panic about missing documents and I don’t lie awake wondering if something is wrong. They have eliminated my favorite pastime: unnecessary anxiety.
Reason nine: They treat me like a real person
I am not just a name on a spreadsheet. They help when something changes. They notice when something looks off. They care if there is a problem. I was expecting distant corporate indifference. This feels suspiciously human.
Reason ten: They raise the bar too high
Now it looks like I chose a responsible company to work for. This sets unreasonably high expectations for future life choices. Not sure I can handle the pressure.
